2019 Fishing Derby

We are pleased to announce the Lake Hills Fishing Derby! The Derby gets our kids outside, encouraging appreciation and stewardship of our environment. We are truly blessed living in Lake Hills; like a giant aquarium in our back yards, there is much to be enjoyed and learned from our lake. Below is the Derby info in brief, including our newest award category, Smallest Fish! The official rules and other reference materials will be distributed to all entrants. We strongly advocate catch and release in order to preserve our natural resources and for our enjoyment and enrichment for many years to come. Date: Saturday, June 15th

Rain Date: TBD Register By: June 9th

Fishing Time: 7:30AM – 11:30AM

Check-in Beach 1: 7:00AM

Weigh-in Station Location: Beach 1 (Tahmore Dr.)

Open to Children ages 4-16.

$5 entry fee per child.

Fish by land or by boat. If by land, there’s plenty of room at Beach 1.

Both artificial lures and live bait allowed

Live worms will be provided by Jimmy O’s Bait & Tackle

Cookout & Awards immediately following @ Beach 1
